That old double standard

Bill Clinton has probably had more woman over the course of his career than you could shake a stick at. And that makes him a stud. If Hilary had had as many men as her husband had had women, you may be sure everyone would be calling her a slut and she certainly wouldn't be Barbara Walter's "Most fascinating woman of the year." But Petraeus, who betrayed his wife and family and put his country at risk... he's a "fascinating man"? He's a guy who couldn't keep it in his pants despite the fact that he had an extremely important job and could not bear the stain of being an adulterer...yet did it anyway. He's not fascinating, he's stupid. Don't get me wrong. If a guy or gal does not make the marriage commitment they can sleep with whoever they want any day of the week and twice on Sunday. (As long as the woman doesn't get pregnant and then expect the tax payers to pay her to raise her child that she couldn't afford to take care of any other way!) But if you get married...well, gee, that's a contract. If you don't care for your spouse and are attracted to someone else, get a divorce. As the much maligned Liz Taylor said about her 8 marriages - at least she never slept with them until and unless she was married to them...
