Should Businesses Make Political Statements in Laying Off Workers?

Several restaurant chains have told the newspapers that they can't afford the onerous conditions of Obamacare, and as a result they are going to reduce workers hours to part time and add a 5% surcharge to all meals. All well and good. They've gotta do what they've gotta do to stay in business. But they are specifically going to call this surcharge the Obamacare Surcharge, so all their patrons know it's being implemented because of Obamacare.

And some folks (discussing it on the Hannity boards and elsewhere, I'm sure) wondered if potential patrons would refuse to go to restaurants who called their surcharge the Obamacare surcharge, instead of just working it into their fees normally.

Rush has talked about all the provisions in Obamacare over the past two days.... it is not going to be pretty when it's fully implemented.
