Romney and his Taxes

Now that Romney has released his 2011 taxes, the press are having a field day, as Rush predicted. But I still say it's Romney's fault. Release your tax returns the day you announce your candidacy for the Presidency, and you pull the teeth of 75% of all the whining and complaining. By waiting so long (even though he only ever said he would release two year's worth) he's just allowed the wood for the bonfire to be built higher and higher, when he could have nipped everything in the bud if he'd released five years or so right up front.
