The governments of China and Japan are in dispute about a few uninhabited islands. Islands that are unimportant in the grand scheme of things, but they each want them.
And now it's filtered down to the citizen level. Apparently mobs of Chinese citizens are attacking Japanese-owned businesses and forcing the Japanese who work inside them to flee for their lives.
Why? Why attack innocent businessmen because your two governments are involved in an argument over useless islands???
