RUSH: At a briefing for reporters, David Axelrod was asked about Newt Gingrich, and Axelrod said, quote, "The higher a monkey climbs on the pole, the more you can see his butt." David Axelrod, chief campaign strategerist for Barack Hussein Obama, asked about Newt.
Of course if any Republican...or anyone...had said this about Obama or any black politician (or indeed, any minority politician), a firestorm would have been launched, and the person involved would be, if not out of a job, at least ordered to redeem themselves by grovelling, apologizing, and attending a sensitivity seminar.
But since Newt is white...well, of course it's not racist, it's just a put down.
Double standard.
