Not that he actually sent the lewd IM to this woman, nor that he's done the same to at least 6 othr women in the course of the last few years. After all, he's a guy, isn't he, and that's what guys do.
Not that he's a politician and was laying himself open to blackmail by engaging in this type of behavior with these women. That's what politicians do - they won't be caught.
No, I want to know if people are surprised that Weiner, after lying like a rug for days and days, has now admitted he was lying...but he's not going to quit. No, he's going to keep on going to work, secure in the knowledge that people are laughing at him behind his back.
(I must admit I was surprised by one thing. I knew "tweeners" were sexting each other, but it never occurred to me that professional men (or women) in their thirties would do it..
It will be interesting to see if Weiner will be forced to resign - not because of his secual escapades, but because he lied about them. That should be an unforgivable sin.
