Invading Iraq a Crime, Invading Libya Perfectly Okay

John McCain, a Rino (Republican in Name Only), had this to say about the candidates and their objection to the Libyan war:
Well, I was more concerned about what the candidates in New Hampshire the other night said. This is isolationism. There's always been an isolation strain or isolationist strain in the Republican Party, the Pat Buchanan wing of our party, but now it seems to have moved more center stage, so to speak.

What is "isolationist" about the fact that we do not have the money to be pouring into Libya helping the rebels, particularly because we do not know who these rebels are! Will they turn into militant Islamists, worse than Khadafy?

It is hardly "isolationist" for the Republicans to say, "Hey, Obama promised to get us out of Iraq and Afghanistan and we're still there, and now we're in Libya as well!"

What this just goes to show is that people like the Nobel Prize Committee, who gave Obama a Nobel Peace Prize after just 9 months in office, are idiots. They gave it to him based on what they expected him to do, not on what he had actually accomplished. What idiots!

Here's what Rush had to say:
Come on, here. What are we supposed to do? Everywhere in the world we are supposed to go, Congo, Sudan? It's our place every case to use the military where there are human rights violations on this scale? Isolationism? Why do this? I don't know, as I said earlier, we need a new definition of what he means by isolationism because this is just over the top. And I think, you know, he's out today blaming illegal immigrants for these wildfires, and I gotta tell you, that's as inane as anything else, and probably he's out doing that to make sure people don't talk about his comment on Meet the Press 'cause that's what I'm sure he's embarrassed by, or wants to have people not focus on. He would never say something like that about Obama when he was running for office himself. When he was running for the presidency he wouldn't criticize Obama that way. I don't know who he's trying to curry favor with now. I mean, what's the point?

I was surprised to see Rush scoffing at McCain's claim that some of the wildfires in Arizona were caused by illegal immigrants. What's to doubt? They're coming over illegally, they start a fire at night to keep warm, they don't know how to make it properly, and it turns into a wildfire. Perfectly believable.

(In the same way that stupid citizens and citizens who are arsonists have caused fires in just the same way.)

The point is...if you're upset with the US for kicking your illegal butt back to Mexico, what better revenge than to try to burn the state down? That's not Mexican nature - that's human nature, unfortunately.
