Is Man-made Climate Change a Hoax?

Frankly, I don't know what to believe.

Here's the headline from Rush.
Mitt Romney's Climate Questioner
Manmade climate change is a hoax. End of discussion.

No, that's not the end of the discussion. Just saying, "No it doesn't exist" is no good, anymore than saying "Carville is calling for another stimulus plan" is any good when he clearly said no such thing (from yesterday.)

Now admittedly, the hoaxters are getting into the act. The "Cap and Trade" - that's utterly ridiculous and just a way for the leaders of poor countries to get paid for doing nothing.

But China, for example, has changed its climate because of the massive building they've been doing. There are droughts everywhere, and of course massive flooding here in the US.

What I would like to see is some independent folk investigate this... but independent investigators seem to be few and far behind. Scientists get their grants from the government and don't want to queer that pitch, and big businesses of course don't want to stop what they're doing...

The thing is...whether climate change is man-made or not, it is happening, and we've got to figure out some way to deal with it...or rather, with the lack of food that is going to follow on from the loss of aerable land, which is only accelerating.
