Latest news today is that Weiner is seeking a leave of absence from the House to enter a "treatment facility." In other words, he's going to claim to be a sex addict, so his idiotic behavior was not his fault at all, it was just part of his addiction.
And of course if you have an addiction, you are mentally ill, and under the people with handicaps act, you can't be fired - even if you can't do your job.
So he's going to ride this thing out... and probably succeed, too. Supposedly more than half of his constituents don't want him to resign. Apart from being obsessed with spreading his seed virtually via the internet, he's a liar, but apparently he also does stuff his constituents like, so his job is safe.
