One of the things that Dems say about Republicans is that the Republicans despise the poor.
They say, "They force women to have babies, but once the woman has the baby, they don't care what happens to it."
And isn't that true? To an extent, anyway?
If a woman can't afford to have a baby - and is to stupid to have used a condom, then surely she's too stupid to have that baby and raise it right. It's just another baby added to the welfare rolls, and there are too many of those already.
Anyway, apparently Catholics are outraged that they're hospitals will be forced to give contraceptives to people, since its against their religion. I think it's time Catholics, and fundamentalist Jews and Christians, and fundamentalist Muslims, were ushered into the 21st century.
Don't want a woman to abort a baby when its near term? OR even 3 months old? Let her ensure that she never gets pregnant in the first place!

RUSH: Former Democratic Congresswoman Kathy Dahlkemper, a Catholic from Erie, Pennsylvania, voted for Obamacare in 2010. This is from the Weekly Standard, by the way. She lost her seat in the midterms of 2010 in part because she voted for Obamacare. Kathy Dahlkemper, a Catholic from Erie, said recently she "would have never voted for the health care bill had she known that the Department of Health and Human Services would require all private insurers, including Catholic charities and hospitals, to provide free coverage of contraception, sterilization procedures, and the 'week-after' pill 'ella' that can induce early abortions."
