Why are we holding off trying that guy during Ramadan?

Watching BBC news, apparently killings in Syria continue...

How can this be, when it is the holy month of Ramadan? Wasn''t the trial of that terrorist, Sheik Khalid or whatever his name was, just postponed for a month so that it wouldn't interfere with Ramadan?

Why are we bending over backwards to accommodate this terrorist, when Muslims apparently have no compunction in killing each other during this holy month?

And no, I'm not ragging on Muslims per se. Catholics and Protestants in Ireland killed each other even on Christmas, etc....

I just don't see why a trial had to be postponed for Ramadan. Guy's on trial, just get on with it!
