Should Rush refuse to air ads for Democrat politicies?

A caller informed Rush today that a Health and Human services ad had run in the first hour of his program, touting Obamacare.
RUSH: Well, guess what? It turns out, ladies and gentlemen, that the propaganda campaign, Department of Health and Human Services, is to spend 30, what, million, billion dollars of your money to explain the health care debacle actually has happened. They have, in fact, unbeknownst to me, purchased time on this program. During the commercial breaks I listen to music. I try to keep myself up and in a good mood. I've been listening to Telstar by The Tornadoes the past couple days. I go back and forth with various tunes. I'm obsessive with these things. So I missed this. Here it is.

ANNOUNCER: Hi. I'm Diane Keradue. I'm senior Medicare patrol volunteer. Our program sponsored by Medicare and the US Department of Health and Human Services helps seniors learn to protect themselves from Medicare frauds and scams. For instance, if you're a Medicare beneficiary and you're approached with an offer of free medical equipment or services, watch out. If it sounds too good to be true, it probably is. Call 1-800 Medicare to report it, and go to StopMedicareFraud.gov to find lots of useful tips and important information about new fraud-fighting tools that Medicare now has thanks to the new health care law, new resources to help law enforcement crack down on criminals and return taxpayer dollars to the Medicare trust funds and how you can get involved in the fight against fraud. Go to StopMedicareFraud.gov and help make Medicare stronger for all of us. A message from Medicare and the US Department of Health and Human Services.

RUSH: I.e., from Obama. So I'm kinda torn here. We're getting their money, somewhat coming back to me, some of it's yours. (interruption) Well, our editorial policy doesn't have anything to say about this. We took money from CNN, you know, for Spitzer and the Ditzer. Your government is telling you, your government, your government, the Obama regime is saying, "If it sounds too good to be true, it is," (laughing) from this bunch.

So he really didn't answer the question.

Indeed, one of the advertisers on his program really annoys me, and that is the Credit Relief people. Well, I'm blanking on their name, but they're the ones who say, "We have powerful secrets the credit card companies don't want you to know."

I've recently moved to Cheyenne and heard a more egregious one a couple of days ago - I don't know if it airs in other cities. But it was casting the credit card companies in as dark a light as possible. "The credit card companies have kept you in debt for years, fight back," and so on.

In other words, it's not the fault of the individual credit card holder that he or she has maxed out their balance and can't pay their bills. Oh, no, it's those mean credit card companies who charge such high interest.

(Indeed, now, on my credit card statement, I've got a couple of paragraphs that informs me how much time it will take me to pay off my bill if I pay only the minimum balance each month. But if I pay "this much" extra each month, or even "this much" extra, my bill will go down by this much and I'll save this much money.

So kind of them to let me know that. But then, unfortunately, there's probably quite a lot of the population to whom that is news.
