Yesterday, Maxine Waters was talking to a group of black folks at some politicla rally, and said that prior to that time, they'd never criticized President Obama.
I'll give you the exact quote from yesterday:
WATERS: We don't put pressure on the president.
CROWD: That's right!
WATERS: Let me tell you why: We don't put pressure on the president because y'all loooove the president.
CROWD: No! (grumbling, shouting)
WATERS: You loooove the president. You're very proud. You're very proud to have a black man...
CROWD: That's right! Yes, we are.
WATERS: ...first time in history of the United States of America.
CROWD: (shouting)
WATERS: If we go after the president too hard, you going after us. When you tell us it's all right --
CROWD: It's all right! (shouting)
WATERS: When you tell us it's all right and you unleash us, and you tell us you're ready for us to have this conversation, we're ready to have the conversation!
RUSH: Did you follow that, folks? Maxine's talking to the audience out there, and she talks about how wonderful it is to have first black president. (paraphrased) "Oh, yes, it is. And we're very proud, very proud to have a black man. Yes, we are. First time in history of the United States. If we go after the president too hard, you're going after us. When you tell us it's all right," and the crowd said, "It's all right!" (laughing) The crowd said go for it! So Maxine's asking permission to go after the president as a member of the Congressional Black Caucus. "When you tell us it's all right," and they didn't budge, they didn't delay: "It's all right!" She says the black community is getting tired, wants to know why he's not driving his bus through any black communities.
WATERS: We're supportive of the president but we're getting tired, y'all.
CROWD: (shouting)
WATERS: We're getting tired, but our people are hurting.
WOMAN: Yes, they is.
WATERS: The unemployment is unconscionable.
WOMAN: That's right!
WATERS: We don't know what the strategy is. We don't know why, on this trip that he's in the United States now, that he's not in any black communities. We don't know that. But all I'm saying to you is: We're politicians, we're elected officials, we're trying to do right thing and the best thing. When you let us know that it is time to let go, we'll let go.
CROWD: (shouting)
RUSH: So she's asking permission from the crowd to go after Obama, and the crowd granted permission. Maxine and the Congressional Black Caucus are wondering why Obama's not driving the bus through black communities. (interruption) Well, it is sad, too. Pathetic. It's sad. Let's go back. I'm sure they'd love to see Obama drive the bus through Detroit.
The Mayor of Philadelphia explained exactly the only way black teenagers are going to get any jobs. An op ed piece by Craig Masters covered it:
Sunday August 7, Mayor Nutter took the pulpit at Mount Carmel Baptist Church and delivered a scolding to black Philadelphians the likes of which has never been heard north of the Mason-Dixon line.
With total disregard of how the media would portray him, Mayor Nutter began to speak from the pulpit at which he was married 20 years earlier. He warned the audience he was not going to be politically correct. He began quietly affirming his belief in God, his reliance on daily prayer for guidance, and even his pride at belonging to the church for 25 years.
But then he called for parents to get control of their children. He did not mince words. He told the youths involved in the “nonsense” behavior that if they acted like “ @#!*% ” they would find their butts in jail. And parents and guardians were also warned that they were going to be held accountable for their children.
To the youths involved, he made it clear. It wasn’t the white man’s fault they don’t get hired when they show up to ask for a job with their hair a mess, tattoos up and down their arms and face and neck, and their pants hanging down around their knees. He put it simply, pull up your @#!*% pants, clean up, behave, or move out - Philadelphia doesn’t want them.
A previous Greeley Gazette article, “President intent on weakening the U.S. domestically and internationally?”, includes a timeline indicating the parallel events leading to the break-up of the Soviet Union and probably the United States. Small riots in year three were ignored by the Soviet central government. The small outbreaks the press has called civil unrest in Philadelphia have been ignored by the mainstream media. Worse still, the street violence, coordinated through social media sites, is considered by the federal government to be a local law enforcement problem.
One thing is certain, Mayor Nutter is not going to roll over without a fight. He closed with a warning to the thugs. He told them they were lucky they didn’t get beat themselves. He was calling out every citizen to join together. "Don’t even try to make sense out of this behavior" he said, “sense and nonsense” can’t be in the same place at the same time.
