Comcast's Top 10 Worst US Cities to live

http://www.comcast.net/slideshow/finance-worstplacestolive/12/

Of the top 10 "worst cities in the US" to live, the author's choices seem a bit...ideosyncratic. For example, OKC is the worst city to live in because 30% of its population is obese? Big whoop!

(Not sure if the list is 10 = worst of the worst, or 1 = best of the worst. It starts out with 10, anyway.

CORRUPT: 10. Memphis, Tennessee
"As for political corruption, reportedly nearly one public official per month over the last decade has been charged with public corruption. Recently, a former city administrator used a city account that was supposed to be for auto parts to buy big screen televisions. "

9. Miami, Florida
Of all its ills, the author doesn't mention political corruption as a problem. I find that hard to believe, but let's move on...

CORRUPT: 8. Newark, New Jersey
Again, the author talks more about the city's other problems, but does say, "Newark has been likened to Detroit, but with its own political and social dysfunction. "

7. Phoenix, Arizona
Note the inaccuracy and bias in this comment. Phoenix can only ask for the papers of someone they've already stopped for committing some kind of crime! But that's not what they say here:
If Arizona's tough immigration laws gets through the courts, Phoenix is going to be a much more difficult place for immigrants (or really anyone of Latino origin) to live in. The law would allow police officers to stop anyone who looks like they may be an illegal immigrant and ask for papers proving their legal status. Charges of racial profiling and discrimination can quickly turn a city into one of the worst places to live and its already sparking huge protests and impacting Arizona's already-fragile economy.

6. Los Angeles, California
Only the pollution problem is mentioned.

5. Oklahoma City, Oklahoma
Only the overweight problem of the citizenry is mentioned. If that's their only problem, how in the world can that make Oklahoma City a bad place to live!!!

4. Las Vegas, Nevada
The only problem with Las Vegas is apparently the foreclosure problem. So why not go buy a few houses there? Seems like a great time.

3. Detroit, Michigan
Highest crime rate in the country makes Detroit an unsafe place to live. They say nothing about its political corruption problems.

CORRUPT: 2. Cleveland, Ohio
"Nicknamed the "Mistake by the Lake," Cleveland ranked near the bottom when looking at corruption on the Forbes list. "Northern Ohio has seen 309 public officials convicted of crimes over the past 10 years," according to the Forbes story, which cites data from the Justice Department. "A current FBI investigation of public officials in Cuyahoga County (where Cleveland is located) has ensnared more than two dozen government employees and businessmen on charges including bribery, fraud and tax evasion."

1. El Centro, California
Unemployment makes this a lousy place to live. (Worse than Detroit or Cleveland????)
