Who is Eboo Patel?

One of President Obama's religious advisers. From Wikipedia:

Eboo Patel is a member since February 2009 of President Barack Obama's Advisory Council on Faith-Based Neighborhood Partnerships. He is an American Muslim of Gujarati Indian heritage and founder and executive director of the Interfaith Youth Core, a Chicago-based international nonprofit that aims to promote interfaith cooperation.

Biography
Patel grew up in Glen Ellyn, Illinois, where he attended primary school at Glenbard South High School. He has a doctorate in the sociology of religion from Oxford University, where he studied on a Rhodes scholarship. Patel attended the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign for his undergraduate studies.

Work
His blog, at Washington Post, "The Faith Divide", explores what drives faiths apart and what brings them together.

He is on the Religious Advisory Committee of the Council on Foreign Relations, the National Committee of the Aga Khan Foundation.

He was on the Advisory Board of Duke University Islamic Studies Center.

Eboo is a fellow of Ashoka Foundation, part of a select network of social entrepreneurs with ideas that could change the world.
