One of the wisest things we can say is "I do not know."
All of us are ignorant. Some of the world's most serious troubles grow out of the fact that people "know" so much that is simply not so.
Instead of assuming that we know everything, and making more assumptions based on that incorrect knowledge, be open to educating yourself. If you are told a piece of information that does not accord with what you know...check what you know before you dismiss it...perhaps what you know is wrong.
