Doug Urbanski to guest host for Rush on Friday

Rush is on vacation tomorrow and all of next week. He's filming a golf show.

Douglas Urbanski (born 17 February 1957 in Somerville, New Jersey) is an American theatre impresario, raconteur and film producer.

He is a partner with actor Gary Oldman in the production company SE8 GROUP and he also runs a talent management firm, DMG. When he is not producing motion pictures, the self described "Conservative, Capitalist, Catholic" is has been an active guest host on national radio programs filling in for Laura Ingraham, Michael Savage, Fred Thompson, Tammy Bruce, Jerry Doyle, Rusty Humphries, Dennis Miller, Bill O'Reilly and Rush Limbaugh.

He is married to television producer Diane Wilk (The Nanny). Douglas Urbanski's film producing credits include the following films: The Contender, which received two Academy Award Nominations and starred Gary Oldman, Jeff Bridges, Joan Allen, Christian Slater, and Sam Elliott, and Nil By Mouth, written and directed by Gary Oldman for which Douglas Urbanski received the 1997 British Academy Award for Outstanding British Film of the Year, and for which Gary Oldman received the Best Original Screenplay British Academy Award. The film received a total of 4 nominations for the 1997 BAFTA's.

For 1997's Cannes Film Festival, Nil By Mouth was selected to inaugurate the Main Competition and received the 1997 Cannes Film Festival Award for Kathy Burke. In 1998 the film received six nominations for the British Independent Film Awards, and won three awards. During the 1980s he and/or his companies were active theatrical producers on Broadway and in London.
