Harry Reid is Out of Touch

Who pays for public sector jobs? The private sector! And we don't have a say in how much those people get paid, do we?

REID: It's very clear that private sector jobs have been doing just fine. It's the public sector jobs where we've lost huge numbers. And that's what this legislation is all about.

. In percentages, private sector unemployment is down 5.4% since 2007. Government unemployment is down only 1.8% since 2007, and teacher unemployment is down 1.4%. Fact: Since 2007, the private sector has lost 6.3 million jobs under Obama as a senator in a Democrat controlled Senate and as president where the first two years his party controlled the House and the Senate. So since 2007 the private sector has lost 6.3 million jobs, the public sector has lost just 392,000 jobs. And yet here is Harry Reid saying, "It's very clear that private sector jobs have been doing just fine. It's the public sector jobs where we lost huge numbers, and that's what this legislation's all about." What this legislation is all about is continuing the money laundering scheme [of Unions getting paid so they can make their donations to Democrat politicians.
