French Moroccans...would those be...Muslim?

Political correctness in the news reporting world is certainly doing us a disservice. Below is an article from Fox News, talking about 5 French-Moroccan men who have been traveling around the country visiting security facilities.

We aren't told what their religion is. What religion can they be?

Why is their religion newsworthy? Because in these days of worldwide terrorism, most terrorism is based on one's religion. It's something we have to know, in order to make an informed decision about what we've read.

If they're Muslim, they could very well be part of a terrorist plot. If they aren't Muslim, then knowing that could shut up the people who will automatically assume that they are Muslim, based on the fact that they seem to have indulged in activities that have got to be terror-related. (Visiting high-level security facilities around the country? There's really only one deduction.)

So... French Moroccan. French Morocco was a protectorate of France, but has been independent since the 1950s. According to Wikipedia: "Morocco has always been known for its islamic liberalism and openness towards the Western world. King Mohammed VI of Morocco with his ruling elite are democratically minded, showing tolerance within the limits of territorial integrity and traditional laws and customs." The Jewish population of Morocco had steadily emigrated to other countries over the years - particularly to the US and to Israel. Again according to WIkipedia there are about 7,000 Jews Living in Morocco.

Here's the article.
5 Foreign Nationals In Custody After Attempted Break-In at Texas Courthouse, Authorities Say

DEVELOPING: The FBI and local police said Wednesday they were trying to figure out why five French-Moroccan nationals tried to break into a Texas courthouse in the middle of the night.

At least five foreign nationals are in custody after the attempted break-in at the Bexar County Courthouse in San Antonio, which triggered a bomb scare and FBI terror investigation, a source close to the case tells FoxNews.com.

The source, who spoke on condition of anonymity because the investigation is ongoing, said the suspects are believed to be of French-Moroccan descent.

FBI agents and a bomb squad were called to courthouse after two men were found inside the building early Wednesday, 1200 WOAI News Radio reports.

The pair, along with another man, who was outside in an RV, are being questioned by the FBI Joint Terrorism Task Force.

Documents found inside the van showed the men seemed to have traveled extensively to high-level security facilities around the country, investigators said.

The source declined to comment on whether any bomb-making materials were found at the scene, saying only that the suspects' motive is still under investigation.

Police said two of the men climbed a fire escape and entered an unlocked door on the fourth floor of the courthouse at around 2 a.m., KHOU.com reports.

The men allegedly told investigators that they were visiting from out of town and said they were trying to get a tour of the city, according to the station.

Investigators also told the station that documentation found inside the RV showed the suspects had done extensive traveling to high-level security facilities around the country.

Sheriff's department spokesman Louis Antu told the Associated Press that there's no information to indicate that the incident might be affiliated with terrorism. He said the case is being investigated as burglary of a building.

Antu said the FBI and immigration authorities are involved because the men are not from the U.S. Antu said the men, whose names have not yet been released, were taken to a jail holding facility.
