Today Rush advised people to watch his golf episode rather than than Obama's speech. He was publicizing his show, but he was also completely serious...and I think that's silly, as has been his advice over the years to not read the daily papers or keep in touch with the news because it will only depress people - they should just listen to his show and that's it.
Bad advice.
Rush is always criticizing Obama, criticizing the Dems, and if you listen to him only you might think that everybody in the country feels this way - except other Democratic politicians, of course - when in actual fact half the country feels th is way.
In order to find out what we have to fight against, we must pay attention to what the opposition is doing! Otherwise, we'll get caught by surprise when various things occur.
One thing I really, really wish the Tea Partiers and Republicans would do is to eliminate the practice of putting everything and the kitchen sink into bills, hidden, so that when the big bill passes, all these little things pass too. That's just not right. And it's part of transparency...which Obama promised. But its been politics as usual.
