Lost Art of Thinking, Rule #17: Learn how to learn
There are two main kinds of learning: learning from books, teachers, computers, and learning from experience.
Learning is by no means something we are supposed to do only from the ages of five to twenty-one, in buildings called schools. Rather, it is a lifelong process, the proper conduct of which is not only absolutely necessary for the physical survival of individuals but for the survival of entire societies.
