How Long Before Enough Politicians Realize Obamacare Will Be A Disaster

Either everybody gets a waiver, or nobody gets a waiver. And why are waivers needed, anyay? Why wasn't this legislation written by someone who would know all the time frames needed to accomplish everything they wanted to accomplish?

And is anyone - except Rush - going to call Anthony Weiner on the fact that he wrote the healthcare bill and even he doesn't know what's in it.
Story #3: Anthony Weiner Wants Obamacare Waiver for NYC

RUSH: Representative Anthony Weiner, New York, said yesterday he's looking into how a health law waiver might work for New York City. This is a Politico story: "Weiner, who is likely to run for mayor of New York, said that because of the city’s special health care infrastructure, his office was looking into alternatives that might make more sense."

Now, the Politico neglects to mention in this story that Anthony Weiner claimed to have written Obamacare legislation. That was their scoop, by the way, and they failed to mention it in this story. They even had the video clip to prove it, in which Weiner says, "The bill and I are one." If you read the whole story you'll read how Weiner talks about how friends got waivers which is exactly how laws work in Third World banana republics. So here's New York City. A waiver might work for New York. Here's the author of the health care bill, the author, the self-proclaimed author of Obamacare saying that New York will need a waiver in order to survive.

"Weiner is one of the health care law’s biggest supporters; during the debate leading up to reform, he was one of the last holdouts in Congress for the public option." Weiner did. He said, "I wrote the bill." And, "The bill and I are one." "'The president said, "If you have better ideas that can accomplish the same thing, go for it,"' said Weiner. 'I'm in the process now of trying to see if we can take [President Barack Obama] up on it in the city of New York, … and I’m taking a look at all of the money we spend in Medicaid and Medicare and maybe New York City can come up with a better plan.'"

Well, I thought this was the end-all to health care. This was everything we needed, and now the nation's largest city needs a waiver from Obamacare.
