Chelsea Clinton is getting married on July 31 or something like that, and Rush has been talking about it today, joking that the $2 million price tag could be better spent helping the homeless, buying AIDs vaccines, or helping people in Vietnam. (He is joking, as his wedding cost probably that much, and he doesn't think it's anyone's business.)
But then he just couldn't resist making a crass remark, wondering if there was a Lewinsky in Chelsea's future. Come on, Rush! Go after her parents and other politicians all you like, but leave their kids out of it. That was just cold. A lot of people probably thought it was hilarious, but it was just in poor taste.
12.53 pm so far, no mention of Kerry or Rangel. He's been spending much of the time talking about some black woman who wants to use the phrase, "Not the white man's bitch" as her election slogan. Now you tell me. Doesn't that sound a bit like she hates white people? I don't know that I could expect her to treat whites equally, when she obviously despises them. Indeed, I"m surprised Rush hasn't pointed that out yet.
Today is open-line Friday and I typically don't listen to his phone calls. I tune in to Rush to hear him talk, not to hear other people talk...
