Why just bankers? Why not lawyers?

There's news out there that the top Wall Street honchos are going to have their pay capped.

Well, in one instance that's fine... whatever it's capped at, they'll still be making plenty of money.

But what about lawyers? No one deals with a Wall Street guy in the course of a normal days' events, but thousands of people a day have to deal with lawyers, who charge $200 or so an hour and bill in increments of 15 minutes. Many's the person who has gone bankrupt because of a divorce or some other thing...only because they had to pay most of their money to some blood-sucking lawyer.

I say - cap the salaries of lawyers. If not the ones that deal with the public, at least the ones that deal with the government. No more teams of lawyers getting 70% of a settlement for some lawsuit, and so on...

If the government capping people's salaries is the wave of the future - let lawyers be first on the list.
