The Dems keep saying that Republicans are trying to block the minority vote by insisting that they have photo ids to vote.
But don't they also need photo IDs to get jobs?
So rather than the ACLU and the Dems spending all that money on legal fees to prevent the ID vote from going forward, why don't you ask why they don't launch a program aimed at actually getting these people IDs so they can not only vote but get jobs!
If an ID costs so much money (and I checked the South Carolina website and it costs $10 to get a state ID), why don't they save on the legal fees and spend that money helping minorities put themselves in a position to get jobs.
By not doing so - they are blocking minorities attempts to get jobs and are effectively forcing them to be unemployed and on welfare. (Although how anyone can be on welfare without an ID to show who they are to begin with is something I don't understand.)
It's 9 months to the election - plenty of time for people to get IDs - whether they save up the money to pay for it themselves or get the ACLU to pay for it for them.
The idea that Republicans are attempting to suppress the minority vote just doesn't hold water, since those minorities have 9 months before the upcoming electin to get an ID and nothing is stopping them from doing that.
An independent view of the politics of the day, using the Rush Limbaugh radio program for a springboard. I agree with much of Limbaugh's analyses of political events, American exceptionalism, and so on, but disagree with a lot, too.

My Open Email To Rush
Sent this to Rush today... he gets thousands of emails so I doubt if he'll see it...but it seems such an obvious thing to me...
