What is the American Federation of State, County and Municipal Employees

Vice President Biden is scheduled to deliver remarks at the 40th Annual International Convention of the American Federation of State, County and Municipal Employees in Los Angeles, California today.

The AFSCME is a Union, and of course is affiliated with the AFL-CIO. Richard Trumka is of course the guy who has visited the White House three times as many times as any member of Obama's cabinet or advisors...
