How many of our politicians are on this jaunt to Cartagena?

The President is headed over there. So is Secretary of State Clinton. So is half her staff.

I wonder if they are all flying on their own planes, or if they are each taking separate planes?

Of course a Secretary of State and a President can't fly together. If something happened to the plane you don't want to lose both of them.

But could the President take half of the SoS staff with him? Or is he going on his own in Air Force One with his staff alone?
