Where *is* the money going to come from?

Rush was talking about the tax deal today (and that it yet might fall apart) and here's an excerpt from it.
by the way, have you noticed -- I love this -- the media, the rest of the Democrats are suddenly asking where the revenue's gonna come from to pay for tax extension for the rich. Like F. Chuck Todd yesterday worrying about how much is this gonna cost the Treasury, how much is this gonna cost the government? I love these guys all of a sudden worrying about where the money is gonna come from. Did they ask where the revenue was gonna come from with the stimulus bill? Did they ask where the revenue was gonna come from for the bailout of his UAW buddies at General Motors and Chrysler? Do they wonder who's gonna pay for the subsidizing of the Chevy Volt? Did they wonder where the revenue was gonna come from for the bailout of his Wall Street buddies?

Well, where is the money going to come from?

Frankly, if I were a relatively person right now, I'd be pretty worred about where the economy was going, and I'd be buying land somewhere remote, but with good farm land. No, I'm not buying into Glen Beck's prediction that the US economy is going to collapse...I'm just thinking, the wealthy have been made out to be such villains...you know that they will be under attack - on their persons - if push comes to shove.

It's too bad there's no one to create a Galt Junction...or whatever it was Ayn Rand called it in Atlas Shrugged...where all the productive people in the world retire to their own little enclave, safe and sound, while the world falls apart around them. And then when it's been reduced to utter penury, they emerge to take control.

Something of the sort needs to happen here. Problem is, as Ronald Reagan said many years ago, if the US fails, there is no where else to go. This is the last stand...
