I don't listen to Rush for comments on unimportant things

Rush said on his program today that another masseur has come forward to say that John Travolta made inappropriate sexual remarks to him.

And that's all he said.

And I'm like...why are you telling us this?

If Travolta is convicted of making lewd remarks, then its news, then tell us about it. But right now its like the Duke Lacrosse team, or George Zimmerman - reputations being besmirched in the media with no proof.

Indeed, Rush didn't mention it but at least one accuser has dropped his lawsuit against Travolta.

...Maybe Travolta paid him off, maybe not. Maybe he did make sexual remarks, maybe not. There are a few people that think Travolta, like Tom Cruise, is gay. But I would think that Travolta, like Tom Cruise, is smart enough not to set himself up for blackmail with some low-paid masseurs! (Course you would have thought Tiger Woods would have been smart enough to not set himself up for blackmail by 23 women, but then he proved he was pretty dumb.)

Regardless, that's not something I want to hear on Rush's program.
