I've been reading over at the Hannity.com message boards, people angrily pointing out that indeed Ann Romney doesn't know what it's like to work, to have to get up at 7 am and get out the door, because of her "privileged lifestyle."
Well, what about Michelle Obama?
She grew up in a middle class home, with a mom who stayed at home and a dad who worked (although the mom did get a job after Michelle started high school). Michelle went to Princeton, ya da ya da.
But being from a middle class home rather than a rich home, she would have gone to school with kids who were middle class and poor. So she knows the struggles of the black family.
So when she becomes the First Lady, what does she choose as "her" platform? Not "stay in school to get a good job." Not "don't get pregnant before you get married." Not "black and white teaming up to solve our problems." Not "don't do drugs."
No, she chooses, "Don't get fat."
She also takes a heckuva lot of vacations while the black community is suffering high unemployment. Doesn't that show being out of touch? With less excuse?
