Saudi Arabia's Moral Beauty Pageant

My Kindle viewers won't be able to see the embedded video (from 2009) - if you want to see it go to YouTube and do a search for the title. Suffice it to say that all of the women are dressed in black from head to toe. Only their eyes are visible.

Now, I don't deny that I look at certain girls walking around the streets of the USA with a little bit of disgust, with their sexualized clothing of shorts cut so short that you can see their butt-cheeks, and belly buttons revealed, and make up that does make one look like a prostitute on the prowl, even in girls as young as 10 or 11... (Indeed, this is how I judge such things. Put the same outfit (sans makeup, of course) on a proportionately sized male. If you looked at the male and though, "he's must be a rent boy," than most guys are probaby thinking the same thing about the woman in such a costume...subconsciously, to be sure. (But, my rant against women and how they cooperate with society's view of them as sex objects first last and only will be saved for a later time.)

But there is a vast difference between wearing "modest" clothing (such as shirts not so tight, and shorts a couple of inches longer, but no damn covering over the face!) and "I'm invisible and you can't look at my face because I mustn't inflame you into lust because I'm a lowly woman" clothing.
