My report: "The Ruling Class" won't have to take exams anymore

In compiling the headlines from the Huffington Post, I came across an article that shocked and horrified me. Harvard.... Harvard - perhaps the most presitgious of all universities in the US - or colleges, whatever the hell it is - anyway, they will no longer make their students take final exams.

Instead, professors will have to get more "creative" in testing to see if their students learned anything at all in their classes.

I was reminded of Rush's rant on his program today, whre he was talking about "the ruling class" being those people who didn't have to earn degrees at college, but rather had them handed to them, and that Harvard was the "hardest school to get into" and the "easiest school to graduate from". To get in you need social connections...to get out.....you just need the good ol' boy network to find you a job.

And frankly, I don't look forward to going in to see a doctor who has a degree from Harvard on his wall. From now on I'll have to ask him - hey, did you get that degree back when students had to take exams to pass their courses, or did you get that degree when you didn't have to take any exam at all and showing up with the right name and enough money was good enough.

No wonder the US is plunging into the toilet while technology and business are passing us by.
