And we can't deport them?
RUSH: Today, Janet Napolitano, in the wake of the Supreme Court Ruling... "The Obama administration said it is suspending existing agreements with Arizona police over enforcement of federal immigration laws, and said it has issued a directive telling federal authorities to decline many of the calls reporting illegal immigrants that the Homeland Security Department may get from Arizona police." Janet Napolitano has just sent out a directive: Don't call us, Arizona. We're suspending whatever agreements we had with you.Don't call us about illegals.
We're not helping you enforce federal immigration law.
"[F]ederal authorities to decline many of the calls reporting illegal immigrants..." Stop and think of that. Just today, after the Supreme Court decision, Napolitano tells Arizona: "Don't call us anymore!" Arizona can't do anything about it, the Supreme Court decision today, and the Feds have just said (paraphrased), "Don't call us. We're not doing anything about it." So Arizona is an open border. "Drop dead! We're not taking your calls." It's right here in my formerly nicotine-stained fingers. "Administration officials, speaking on condition they not be named, told reporters they expect to see an increase in the number of calls they get from Arizona police -- but that won't change President Obama's decision to limit whom the government actually tries to detain and deport."
Drop dead.
