How This Blog Works

I see I'm getting readers already. Welcome aboard!

How this blog works.

There will be at least three posts each day.

1. A discussion of something Rush Limbaugh says on his program that I agree or disagree with, and the reasons why.

2. Rush's "Stuff" - headlines from his website that features transcripts of what he talked about each day.

3. News headlines. It will consist of snapshots of news headlines periodically throughout the day, "News," "International," "Local." I hope these posts can be used as an archive by people interested to know what actually happened on each day, as opposed to what Rush Limbaugh (and Sean Hannity, Glenn Beck, and others) chose to talk about. Did Rush discuss really important stuff, or did he set that aside to discuss only certain political matters that suited him?

There may be more posts each day, talking about something I heard on Hannity, or watched on Beck. Less often on Michael Savage, as he does tend to go ballistic and I really dislike his vicious nature, for all that he may be in the right on some - some - topics.

The purpose of this blog is really to show the American political process in a fair light. I think the Dems and Obama are taking us on the road toward socialism - there's nothing underhanded about it - high handed if anything, but that's what they want and it seems a lot of voters want that too - whether because they dont understand what socialism really means or they don't care.

But is socialism better for America? Are people really too stupid to know what's good, such that they have to be spoon fed by the government. Sometimes I think that that's actually true..then I wonder if it might not be because they have been educated/indoctrinated to think that.

All sorts of philosophical discussion will take place here. But the over-arcing theme, I will say, is that Republicanism is good, Democrats bad, for all that politicians from both parties betray their ideals on a regular basis for a variety of reasons... and still get re-elected to office. Something needs to be done about that, but what can be done?

Limbaugh's Immigration Rules

The Rush Limbaugh program runs, in my neighborhood, from 12 noon to 3 pm Monday through Friday. I won't bother with the Sunday "Best of Rush" which is really only a repeat of a program held during the week.

Although I've listened to the Rush Limbaugh program for a few years now, I'm going to use this blog "going forward" and won't dwell too much on past events unless a reason arises to do so.

I will share Limbaugh's "Rules of Immigration," however, because they reveal the hypocrisy of Mexico and the terrible constraints that the American government and people are living under in an attempt to stop illegal immigration (as opposed to legal immigration!)

Limbaugh reads out a list of precepts....that make a lot of sense actually...and then reveals that they are actually the Immigration Laws of Mexico! Yes, folks, Mexico deports more illegal aliens than the USA des! And yet when Arizona enacts a law which will enable that state to enact Federal law (which the Feds refuse to do), President Calderon starts screaming racism. Apparently its okay for Mexicans to toss other Middle American and South American people out of their country, but when Americans do it, it's racism.

And the mainstream media doesn't point out this little bit of hypocrisy. Astonishing.

Manifesto

An independent assessment of the information presented on the Rush Limbaugh show, written from the perspective of a Republican - one who is for gay rights, animal rights and who is a feminist!

The US is going down the road toward socialim with Obama - the wrong road - but what can be done to save it?
